Carrie has made a wonderful small quilt and I love it. I asked her if I could copy it and Carrie said YES..YAHOOOOO…

Carrie has also given directions for her small quilt that ends up 17 inch square.

Thanks Carrie, I am off sewing.

My question is two fold.

First, do I need to sew more on the block?  Second, do I need to add more to each individual seam?  Comments will be helpful.

Happy Stitching Hugs,

Kathy

TODAY

Today is a beautiful day.

Last week the sewing machine was graced with my presence.  Yesterday I actually went to my sewing group.

It was wonderful to socialize.  That is what is really needed to recover.  Recording what  is made is a wonderful

way to feel good.  It is fun to look back and enjoy your work.

Happy Stitching Hugs,

Kathy

Monica weighed 1 pound 4 ozs and was 12 inches long.

She is beautiful. To me she looks just like her mother Madeline.

DENISE

When Denise sews, her creations are beautiful. This is a quilt that will have the binding on very soon as this is a Christmas present.  Denise sews for her pleasure.  Putting the binding on in the next week will have her fingers flying.

Christmas Present

MAPLE LEAVES

One of my many passions is hand sewing.

So it was just an obvious choice to do applique.  A Baltimore albumn quilt was on my mind.

When this book came across my eyes, Baltimore went out the window and it was WELCOME, “Circles from the East”.

My friend Julie helped me to choose the material for the block called Maple Leaves.

FINISHED QUILTING TOTE

TADA…I am thrilled that finally the quilting tote is finished.  Anything that could possibly fit into the tote can!  There is room for the large cutting board, rulers, sandpaper board, the tin which has all the little things in it, such as scissors, pins, tape measure etc.  Here is a picture for you to see the tote.
